Wendelyn L. Gowen
Wendelyn Gowen graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor
of Science degree in December of 1997. Wendy was born in Winston-Salem,
North Carolina. She attended Nova Southeastern University School of Law
in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, receiving her Juris Doctorate degree in December
of 2003. While in law school, Wendelyn Gowen was a member of Law Review
as a Junior Staff Member and a Senior Staff Editor.
After graduating law school, Wendelyn Gowen received her license to practice
law in May of 2004. She joined the law firm of Rissman, Weisberg, Barrett,
Hurt, Donahue & McLain, P.A. working in insurance defense for nearly
2 years, focusing on auto related cases with a concentration on personal
injury protection insurance law. Throughout her practice, she has been
actively engaged in all aspects of civil litigation in both the circuit
and county courts of Seminole, Orange, Brevard, Broward and Pinellas counties.
Wendelyn Gowen is admitted to practice in the Federal Court for the Middle
District of Florida as well as all State Courts throughout Florida. She
is also a member of the Florida Bar Association.
