Robert D. Bartels
Robert D. Bartels was born in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Bartels graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. He attended Stetson University where he earned his MBA and Juris Doctorate degrees in 2000. While at Stetson, he was a member of the Moot Court Board and competed in three National Moot Court competitions. Additionally, he received the prestigious Victor O Wehle Award for Trial Advocacy.
Upon graduating from Stetson, Mr. Bartels received his license to practice law in 2000 and moved to Orlando, Florida. He was formerly a partner at Rissman, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue & McLain PA where he worked as an insurance defense attorney focusing on auto negligence, premises liability, personal injury protection insurance, subrogation, rental car law and contract law. Mr. Bartels joined Bradford Cederberg P.A. in February 2012. Since that time, he has been actively engaged in all aspects of civil litigation in both the circuit and county courts of Florida.
Mr. Bartels is A-V rated by Martindale-Hubbell, signifying his professional and ethical preeminence in the practice of law, as determined by his competitors and judges before whom he has appeared. Additionally, he was recognized as one of Orlando's Top Lawyers in 2012 for Highest in Ethical Standards and Professional Ethics. Mr. Bartels is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, as well as the State Courts throughout Florida.
